Reflective Cycle Mindmap

A reflective cycle to refer back to for future blog posts, research and annotation. The original idea came from Kolb who defined a reflective cycle consisting of 4 stages. These include concrete experience, relating to the value of personal experience and how it affects your practice, reflective observation, linking these experiences and reflecting on them accordingly, abstract conceptualisation, the idea of using theories and logic rather than feelings to solve problems, and active experimentation, adapting your workflow to suit different scenarios. When done correctly, links should be formed between stages, giving you a clearer idea of your goals and how to reflect on your practice.

By using this cycle, it also makes it clearer to create links between my work and industry standard, as well as research and my response to it, looking at how all primary and secondary research informs my development. In addition, I've included possible opportunities to look at for this year and collaborators I'd love to work with in the future.
